This project involved the construction of a new five span bridge that is the centerpiece of this community. The bridge spans a lake and provides a view of the decorative waterfalls downstream of the bridge. Delta Engineers was responsible for the structural design of the bridge elements, preparation of the precast concrete shop drawings, performance of specialty threshold inspections and final certification of the bridge. The bridge consists of precast concrete (BEBO) arch elements with five (5), 42-foot spans. The arch spandrel walls and wingwalls are constructed from cast-in-place concrete. The abutments and piers are founded on 18 inch prestressed concrete piles.
