Tioga County Office Building Boiler Replacement

Tioga County Boiler Upgrade

In June of 2006, flooding from the Susquehanna River damaged the basement walls and equipment at the Tioga County Office Building. Delta provided a study report in September of 2006 addressing the damage and recommending solutions for moving the boilers and electrical panels. From that study, Delta was designated to provide the engineering and construction administration services for the relocation of the main electrical service for the building, as well as relocating the boilers to a location within the building above the 100 year flood plain level. A comprehensive asbestos survey was also performed for this project. Delta provided Architectural, Structural, HVAC, and Electrical services for this project.

The scope of services for this project included the design and construction administration of two gas fired steam boilers, a combustion air system, as well as the condensate receiver and transfer pump. The electrical room was relocated onto the upper level and the existing main distribution equipment was also removed.
