This project involved engineering design services including a photovoltaics study and a comprehensive traffic and parking study on campus-owned and City of Cortland streets that are located on and serve the SUNY Cortland campus.

Design services provided include structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical design. As part of this project, Delta also provided a pre-renovation asbestos survey and lead survey. Construction Administration services were provided.

This project included an addition of approximately 30,000 gsf and a renovation of the existing Cornish Hall which is approximately 23,600 gsf. The addition contains the Child Care Center on the ground floor, School of Education classroom spaces and the Field Placement Office suite on the first floor, as well as the Childhood/Early Childhood offices on the second floor. The renovated second and third floors of Cornish Hall contain suites and offices for the Foundations and Social Advocacy, Education Leadership as well as suites and offices for the Centers. The computer Lab is also located on the third floor of the renovated portion of Cornish. This project will be phased, constructing the Addition in Phase I and renovating Cornish Hall in Phase II. Heating, Cooling and Sprinkler systems will be provided throughout the Addition and renovated area of Cornish Hall. New electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, communications, IT and CCTV systems will be provided throughout both the Addition and Cornish Hall.

This project was designed with LEED certification equivalency.
