Delta Engineers, Architects, & Land Surveyors acquired the firm, Snyder Engineering & Land Surveying, LLP, in 2009. Located in Vernon, NY, Snyder has provided surveying services throughout the State of New York for over twenty (20) years. Acquiring Snyder allows Delta to provide our clients with surveying services on projects and continue to deliver the same quality that our clients expect from a Delta project.

Delta's land surveying department provides land and construction survey and mapping services for a variety of client types. For private residences, municipal projects, and commercial complexes, we provide initial property and topographic surveys, site planning, and site design. Our surveyors work with the owners, municipalities, architects, engineers, manufacturers, and contractors to ensure that the end result is an accurate, complete survey which serves as the base design and construction specifications necessary for a successful project. Whether it's a highway project or the installation of a curtain wall, our surveyors verify that the construction is what the client visualized.

Delta has recently acquired two Lieca High Definition (HD) laser scanners for the Vernon and Endwell, New York offices. These HD laser scanners are the latest in surveying technology which can collect up to 50,000 shots per second, improves safety for our surveyors in the field, and increases the design workflow in our office. This new technology allows Delta to provide our clients better information at a faster rate. The HD laser scanner collects information on projects where considerable detail, high accuracy, accessibility and safety are concerns. In a short amount of time, and with a single instrument set-up, the scanner can collect millions of points along with high resolution photographs that can be used for ground level topographic mapping, 3D modeling, 3D scene visualization and design purposes.
