Don Adams, founder of Delta Engineers, had a vision of a family oriented firm that engineers could enjoy working for. In 1976, Don, with co-founder Ron Lake, established a firm under the name of Adams-Lake Engineers. As a small engineering firm, Don's vision began to unfold with a single civil contract. That modest beginning has grown into what we, today, know as Delta Engineers & Architects, PC.

Delta's services have changed shape to meet the needs of our clients and to support the growing trends throughout the country. Once strictly a civil engineering firm, Delta now provides design services for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, architectural, bridge, highway and precast clients, as well as environmental services and construction administration.

The transformation from a single discipline to a multi-discipline, multi-state firm didn't happen over night. Each step was assessed with the idea in mind that Delta was to remain a firm that the employees could be proud to work for. The transition in controlling ownership has maintained the founding ideals, principles, and values. Delta's family environment, coupled with respect for our employees and clients, has resulted in our outstanding reputation.
