Written by the Broome County Chamber of Commerce:
Anthony Paniccia's history with Delta Engineers began in 1989 - the year he began working at the company. In 1996, Anthony pursued an opportunity to work in Silicon Valley, which lasted about six years. In 2002, Anthony realized that he missed his family and his community and he returned to Delta Engineers.
Today, as President & CEO, Anthony has led Delta Engineers to achieve tremendous growth in both sales and employees, growing from 45 in 2003 to a current employee base of 81. Their growth in sales for 2007 was 30.8%! The net revenue figures have more than doubled since 2003 - All this under the leadership of Anthony who says... "You are only as good as the people you surround yourself with."
Under Anthony's leadership, Delta Engineers has recognized the need to diversify in order to grow and continually meet the needs of their clients. In 2003, they expanded the precast services group to meet such needs and are presently performing work in over 40 states. In 2005, they started a facilities environmental group and in 2006, they started a construction and administration group. This year they have recognized how the quality of documents has played a role in the success of the organization. As a result, they have made the decision to become ISO 9001 certified.
Anthony donates his time and efforts to the community he grew up in. He has served on the Board of the Boys and Girls Club of Endicott and the Town of Union Planning Board. He donates his time to his Church and the Sons of Italy and is the current President of the Southern Tier American Council of Engineering Companies.
As is said of Anthony... "His heart is in Broome County and he is becoming one of our area's best advocates."
