This project involved the study of a twelve-mile corridor to determine a series of improvements that can be made to County Route 21 and its adjoining intersections to increase safety and mobility. The study portion of the project concluded with a detailed Project Scoping Report to include alternatives assessment, implementation strategy & prioritization, environmental screenings, and cost estimates. Work tasks included photogrammetric survey and mapping, corridor studies, report preparation, and a comprehensive Public Participation program involving steering committee meetings, public meetings, and a project newsletter. This locally managed federal aid "pass-thru" project included extensive multi-agency coordination.
